Why I Chose To Start Blogging Now

A Little About Me First:

Hello! I am so glad you've chosen to read my blog—it's my first one, ever! I figured I would give you guys a quick read about why I started blogging at this age. I am currently a 17-year-old high school student in a small town and have recently discovered my love for writing. With that, I have decided to further pursue this love of mine in college and hopefully turn it into a career in the future!

Why Now?:

It wasn't until my senior year that I decided to fully commit to writing. I would start by writing short stories or answering some journal prompts to get some practice in. After figuring out that I could turn it into a career, I knew that this is what I wanted to do, and I thought, why wait? I did a ton of research to find how to create a website, what to start writing, and so much more. Once I finally obtained a majority of the resources that I needed, I got started right away.

My Blogs:

Finding a niche to write about was pretty difficult for me. There are so many things I love and could write about for days, but I knew I needed to limit myself. After some tough decisions, I have narrowed it down to my lifestyle, travel, and fitness, mainly my overall lifestyle. I have a huge love for traveling, which is what helped me choose the name of my website, MiaVitaDolce.com, and fitness plays an important role in my life as well.

Personal Touch:

I always wanted a job I enjoyed, one that made me happy to do every day and not feel like a chore; blogging is just that. Coming up with things to write and getting feedback from you guys (or at least when I do) all seems so fun to me. I want to connect with my people, people who have the same interests and hobbies as I do. Blogging, in a way, calms me and is something I look forward to every day.
